Kitesurfing Lessons Port Elizabeth, Jeffreys bay and st Francis bay.
If you're new to the sport of kitesurfing, it is not only advisable, but necessary for you to take a few kitesurfing lessons. This'll help you to understand the equipment, the conditions best suited to kitesurfing, the techniques required to participate in the sport safely and what is required to get going on your board.
Kitesurfing is one of the easiest wind sports to learn and with correct tuition you could be up and riding in 2-3 days. It is possible for almost any person to do and requires very little physical strength as all the power from the kite comes through your harness.
Most of our lessons are done in Jeffreys bay on our perfectly suited flat water lagoons of Aston bay or Kabeljous or on the nearby Kromme river mouth of st Francis Bay. With our steady Easterly winds, shallow and uncrouded lagoons we offer a safe environment for students. If you are in PE this ideal facility is definately worth taking the short drive from Port Elizabeth to use as it will speed up your progress and add to safety.
Our school is not like other schools that teach in large groups, typically our lessons are 1 on 1 but if there are more people we will limit our lessons to just 2 people. This gives you the private attention that you need to progress at your own pace whilst allowing us to adapt the structure of our lessons to your needs. Here is our typical lesson format that we use.
